Dr. Huiyun Zhao
Dr Huiyun Zhao graduated from a Medical University in China in 1982 and continued her training at the largest public hospital in her hometown – Nanjing until 1986, when she entered a three-year clinical study in the University. Her major was treatment in combination with Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She obtained master’s degree of medicine in 1989 prior to becoming a specialist physician in China. She came to Australia in 2001 after spent 11 years in Papua New Guinea as a general physician, worked in various regional areas including Warracknabeal, Maryborough, Geelong, Melbourne in the Hospitals, Aged care facilities and General practices.
She is interested in all aspects of general practice, in particular women’s health, Travel Medicine, Cosmetic medicine, paediatrics, and minor surgical procedures.

Dr. Susette Sowden
Dr Susette Sowden’s work as a Clinical Psychologist includes assessment and treatment for Anxiety and Mood Disorders, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Dissociative Disorders, Eating Disorders, Sleep Disorders, Somatoform Disorders, Sexual Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, Adjustment Disorders, Schizophrenia, and Personality Disorders. Dr Sowden has extensive experience working with people experiencing relationship difficulties, anger management problems, and personal issues.
Dr Susette Sowden also work as a Forensic Psychologist, she has extensive expertise in preparing medico-legal assessments for Workcover and Comcare claimants; and for Courts for criminal matters including sentencing assessments, family law matters and victims’ compensation matters, expertise in conducting parenting capacity assessments.
Dr Sowden was an Authorized Clinician for the Children’s Court Clinic, NSW for over 10 years. Has been an expert witness in a variety of Courts including the Children’s Court, the Family Court, and Courts addressing Workers’ Compensation issues and criminal matters. She has also been an expert witness in the Industrial Relations Commission.
Dr. Anna Boette
Anna Boetto is an AHPRA registered, Chinese medicine and acupuncture practitioner with more than 10 years’ experience in healthcare. In addition to her Bachelor of Health Science in Functional Medicine, Anna has also qualified with the highest distinction in both the Master of Applied Science, Chinese Medicine Acupuncture; and the Master of Applied Science Chinese Medicine, Herbal Medicine, at RMIT.
Inspired by the seamless incorporation of Chinese and Western medicine observed during her internships at Nanjing Provincial University and Qinhuai Hospitals in Nanjing China, Anna is motivated by this clinical experience to bring integration into practice, ensuring a patient centred model. Anna values the contribution of different systems of medicine and is invested in assimilating these modalities for the betterment of her patient’s health.
Anna continues to expand knowledge through ongoing post-graduate studies and has a special interest in women’s health, fertility and gynaecology, musculoskeletal pain including pre- and post-operative management, neurological disease, and mental health, particularly stress and anxiety.
Anna is available for Chinese medicine and acupuncture appointments every Tuesday and Thursday.
Dr. Kay Taein Kim
Kay (Taein) Kim is a fully qualified, professional traditional Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist. Kay undertook five years of training at RMIT University of traditional Chinese medicine. As a part of course, she underwent the clinical internship in Nanjing of Jiangsu province in China. Furthermore, she has finished individual clinical training in Korea.
She has hands on experience from the last few years of practice and she likes to expertise in women’s health including Periodic problem, Hormonal imbalance, fertility and pregnancy care. She has had excellent results in treating digestive problems, mental health as well as pain management.
She aims to treat the root cause of the conditions while gently addressing the signs and symptoms and has a strong desire to work among an established team that serves a vibrant community.
